Privacy Policy.

1. Scope

This policy explains how the bozQuick browser extension, published by Bozkurt Yazılım, handles data while providing quick actions for selected text.

2. Data handled

bozQuick handles only the data needed for the feature you choose:

• Selected text is processed temporarily to display the quick menu and perform the requested action.
• API keys are stored only in the extension storage on your device. They are not sent to Bozkurt Yazılım or synchronized with Chrome Sync.
• Settings, custom actions, menus, provider profiles, disabled domains, and preferences are stored locally in extension storage.
• If local history is enabled, searches, copies, and translations are stored on the device. History can be disabled or deleted at any time.

bozQuick does not process text selected in password, credit-card, or security-code fields.

3. Third-party services

Data is sent only when you explicitly choose an action that requires an external service:

• Search and custom URL actions can send selected text to destinations such as Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Yandex, Wikipedia, or a target you configure. Multi-AI can open ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, or Perplexity with the text and optional shared prompt.
• Translation requests may be sent to DeepL or your configured LibreTranslate server. Supported Chrome versions can translate on the device without sending text to a translation API.
• AI actions send the selected text and configured prompt to the provider selected in your profile, such as OpenRouter, OpenAI, Gemini, Groq, Mistral, local Ollama, or a custom OpenAI-compatible server.

These services process data under their own privacy policies and account settings. Bozkurt Yazılım does not route user content through its own servers.

4. Purpose and sharing

Data is used only to perform the action you request, remember your preferences, and show optional local history. Bozkurt Yazılım does not sell or rent personal data and does not use advertising, profiling, analytics, or user tracking.

5. Permissions and site access

Storage access keeps settings, API keys, and optional history on your device. Page access displays the menu beside selected text. Provider access is used only for translation or AI actions you initiate; optional provider access is requested when needed.

6. Retention and deletion

Local data remains until you delete it or remove the extension. You can clear history, disable history, or delete all local bozQuick data from the extension. A full exported backup contains all local data, including API keys, so you are responsible for keeping the file secure.

7. Security

bozQuick does not execute remote code. API keys are restricted to trusted extension contexts, and remote requests use HTTPS. No electronic storage or transfer method can provide an absolute security guarantee.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date will be updated. Material changes may also be announced in the extension or on this website.
